This tool allows you to build custom syntax coloring schemes for EditPad Pro and PowerGREP. Version 4 of the scheme editor creates schemes compatible with EditPad Pro 7.0.0 and later, and PowerGREP 4.2.0 and later. You can find the syntax coloring schemes that ship with EditPad Pro and PowerGREP in the folder where you installed the software. Each .jgcscs file contains one syntax coloring scheme. It is a good idea to study some of those schemes before attempting to create your own

The easiest way to download and install a custom syntax coloring scheme is to pick Options|Configure File Types from the menu in EditPad Pro. Go to the Colors and Syntax tab. Click the Download button in the Syntax Coloring section. EditPad Pro will then connect to the Internet and allow you to download and install any scheme with two mouse clicks. Then, the custom scheme will be available in the drop-down list with syntax coloring schemes above the download button

If you cannot use EditPad Pro's built-in download mechanism, you can download the schemes with a web browser using one of the links below. After downloading a .jgcscs scheme file, you need to place it into the same folder as EditPadPro.exe. Go into Options|Configure File Types|Colors and Syntax. Click the Refresh button to make EditPad Pro detect the new .jgcscs file. Then, the custom scheme will be available in the Syntax Coloring drop-down list in the file type configuration screen
