تمكن علماء كنديون من التوصل لاكتشاف هام حول كيفية (http://www.dzbatna.com/vb/t342186/) انتشار (http://www.dzbatna.com/vb/t342186/) السرطان (http://www.dzbatna.com/vb/t342186/) بجسم المريض، حيث أشار الباحثون بمعهد "Samuel Lunenfeld" بتورنتو إلى أن الخلايا السرطانية تنتقي بعض الخلايا السليمة حولها، وتنشئ حواراً معها كي تساعدها على الانتشار لأجزاء أخرى من الجسم.
وهذه العملية التي تعرف بالتغلغل، تجعل من علاج المرض بعد انتشاره تحدياً كبيراً أمام المختصين، وغالباً ما تؤدي لوفاة المريض.
وصرح رئيس فريق البحث، جيف رانا، قائلاً: "غالباً ما يفكر الناس في السرطان (http://www.dzbatna.com/vb/t342186/) على أنه أنسجة منفصلة أو مهاجم خارجي أو شيء نشأ بداخل الجسم ولكنه منفصل عن الجسم الطبيعي و صحي و صحي للغاية".
